Instrument Air is used in place of Nitrogen to provide clean dry air throughout the facility for non medical compressed air applications. Instrument Air can drive tools in the operating room, run the brakes in the booms of an operating room or any other application that is using Nitrogen. To replace Nitrogen in the facility, Instrument Air is required to delivery 180psi therefore requiring a reciprocating compressor technology. Complete with either desiccant dryers or refrigerated dryers. Instrument Air regulators are placed in locations to regulate delivery pressure similar to Nitrogen Control Panels. Instrument Air outlets are DISS latch vavles similar to Nitrogen as well.
